At Desert Haven Church, we enjoy the togetherness of family, and one place that occurs is in our youth ministry.

Our trained and dedicated youth staff is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to mentoring, discipling, and being a friend to the youth of our church and community. In fact, if you chose one word to describe our youth ministry, it would be relationships. We build relationships with teens and deal with the issues confronting teens today.

Our youth program is dedicated to reaching teenagers for Jesus Christ. We do so in a variety of different ways:

Sunday Breakfast. We meet at McDonald’s at Baseline and Ellsworth for breakfast at 9:00 am every Sunday morning. As we gorge ourselves on junk food, we discuss teen issues as well as the topic we study at the 10:30 worship service. It is a wonderful time of fellowship, study, and growing closer together and closer to God.

HYPER. We meet on Wednesday nights for games, a study, and fellowship. Our youth staff joins teens from 7:00-8:30 for a time of building relationships and build a closer walk with Christ.

Fun Events. We do monthly youth events and yearly large events. Some of the places we have gone in the past two years include: Camps in California, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Catalina Island, Sunsplash, Fiddlesticks, Mexico Mission Trips, Bowling, Pizza, Heber, Sunrise Ski Resort, and more! We also have our own skatepark!
